Nothing this week---Happy Yule

I had put about a week's worth of work on a post and it evaporated right in front of my eyes because of some sort of electronic fart on the Blogger server. Oh, well. I am in the midst of resurrecting it but I see this as an omen that suggests I take some time off during the holiday season.
